Poor Man Pork Vegetable Stir-Fry
1 lb ground pork (can use beef, chicken, or turkey...I use whatever I can get in the mark-down bin for $2 or less)
3 tbs teriyaki marinade
1 tbs vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb pkg frozen broccoli, carrots and water chestnuts
1 1/2 cups chicken broth (if you don't make your own, 2 bouillon cubes in 1 1/2 cups water will work)
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs corn starch

1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp white wine
Combine pork and teriyaki sauce in small bowl and refrigerate until needed. Place vegetable oil in a large skillet, over medium/high heat. Saute the garlic for approximately 1 minute, stirring frequently. Add pork and teriyaki sauce and saute 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add frozen vegetables and sauce ingredients (chicken broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil and white wine). Bring to a boil, turn the heat down and simmer about 6 minutes. Stir occasionally. Sauce will thicken as it simmers. Serve over rice (or linguine is good, too!). Makes 4 servings.
