    Default Budget Cruise- Help!

My other half talked me into taking a cruise and now that I've started doing some research on them, I can hardly believe how cheap they are! You can get a 5 day cruise for around $200 per person if you book in advance.

Pretty much everything is included in the package like food, entertainment, staterooms (I guess it's kind of obvious!). The only thing that isn't included are gratuties and any excursions that you want to take in each port.

I'm nervous about our first trip and I'd love to hear any of your thoughts and experiences ecspecially if you've been on a cruise before !

Cruises are awesome. Its been over a decade since I went on one, but I still remember it. They have a gift shop that (obviously) is extra and ANYTHING from the spa is extra.

We go on 2 per year, the best advice I can offer is to login regularly to check rates, they can drop to near nothing per person, we just booked a transatlantic trip for $43 per person, per day. You can't eat out for that price! The least expensive line is Carnival, but Holland America has deals now and then too.

There is also a new site called travelzoo and if you have an open schedule you can in on some great deals dirt cheap!
