    Default dog mites

I just read about dogs getting dog mitess from the grass before the fleas

come out. Have you heard of it? Also using a metal comb to comb the fleas

out if allergic to flea treatment.

You can use oil for fleas. Coverall openings on the dog first so the fleas can't escape. Then cover the dog with oil and let sit for about 5 minutes or so (more if heavily infested). Wash with mild shampoo. The fleas won'tbe able to hold on with the oil and neither will their eggs.
You can do something similar with mites as well. For ear mites, try adrop of two ofmineral oil in the ears.
I used this on a litter of young puppies who couldn't be shampooed with flea shampoo. They were very lightly infested and it worked like a charm. For more heavy infestations, you may need to do this more than once.
