Banana-Walnut Oatmeal for 2
1 cup 1% milk
3/4 cup water
1 pinch salt
1 cup quick oats
1 very ripe banana, mashed
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
Combine milk, water and salt in a medium saucepan; heat until al?most boiling. Add oats and cook, stirring, until creamy, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in mashed banana and maple syrup. Divide between bowls, sprinkle with walnuts and serve.
