vacuum

I need to buy a new vacuum. I am thinking about a bagless vacuum. If you have one would you let me know the pros and cons. Which one do you have. We are a family of three at this time. We take care of foster children five and under so I need something that will get up all the dog hair.

<div style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">I have 3 dogs that shed a lot!! My husband bought me the Dyson that is for pet hair and it works GREAT!!! I have the one that rotates on the ball and it is so easy to push and maneuver around furniture and all. It is so worth the money!!!!

I have a Bissell Cleanview 2 bagless and love it. We have 3 cats and a dog

and it works like a charm getting all the dirt and hair up.

<div style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"><DIV style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt;FONT-FAMILY: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">I have four dogs and two cats so there is a lot of fur around here. For a vacuum I have a Dyson Animal and I really love it. I have loved a bag-less since they came out. It is so easy to just empty the collection canister, put it back in and get back to vacuuming. You never have to worry that you don't have another bag. The Dyson Animal has never had a problem in my house with all the fur (and feathers too as I also have six birds).
<DIV style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt;FONT-FAMILY: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">I have nothing to do with Dyson, I am just a very satisfied customer.

Ditto the praise for Dyson! I spent several hundred dollars on a

deluxe Hoover, but it never had a well day. I finally threw it out

and bought a Dyson (which was cheaper!), and it has been working

    perfectly for years. Awesome!

[I am thinking about a bagless vacuum. If

I actually don't care for my bagless vacuum, I generally skip my $200 Hoover and instead go for my $29 Dirtdevil. Maybe my dogs are just really dirty, but when I go to empty the canister, it is a mess! There is a Hepa filter in there that has to be shaken out, and it is quite messy. I would go so far as to say I hate messing with it. I am slowly replacing all carpets with wood floor and am much happier with that.

I have a Bissell, bagless, had it for 5 years, I think, works as good as when it was new, and I would NEVER EVER buy a bagged kind again.
