    Default MYO Herbal Soap Balls

    Herbal Soap Balls

This is an easy recipe to make some last minute gifts.

Pour 1/4 cup boiling water over 1 tablespoon
    pulverized herbs. You can use
lavender, lemon grass, lemon verbena or chamomile.
    I've made them with
    lavender and chamomile.

I add 4 to 5 drops of essential oil of the same kind
    of herb I use.
Let it steep for 15 minutes.

After steeping 15 minutes pour over 2 cups of shredded
    Ivory soap (1
personal size bar) or a soap base.

    Mix well with your hands.
Pat into meatball-sized balls and place them on a
    cookie sheet that's been

    lined with wax paper.

Or you can pat it into hamburger patty size, then use
    a cookie cutter for
    shaped soaps.

Dry for at least 3 days, turning once a day to dry
    uniformly.
