    Default Fudgy Brownie Pie

    1 cup butter
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    2/3 cup cocoa
    1 cup SR flour
    2 tsp vanilla

    1. Melt butter then pour into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar, cocoa, eggs, and vanilla. Stir well to incorporate.

    2. Add flour. Stir until smooth.
    3. Pour mixture into a prepared 9 x 13 in baking pan.
    4. Bake on 350 for 35 minutes. ((Inside may appear to be a little 'gooey', but that's the reason this is a "fudgy" brownie pie.))

Can you use all-purpose flour instead?

If you use all purpose flour you'll have to add baking powder or baking soda to the mix. Self rising flour has baking powder in it. I'm not sure how much you would have to add. Maybe a teaspoon of baking powder would do it if you chose AP flour.

To make 1 cup of Self Rising Flour you combine:

    1 cup all-purpose Flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
    1/2 teaspoon Salt

    Hope this helps. Thanks; Virginia
