Default Easy Cheese/Broccoli Soup (as requested)

    1 pkg velveeta

    1 can chicken broth

    1 cup water

    14-16oz pkg frozen broccoli

Mix the velveeta in with the chicken broth and water until it's kind of

sludgy. Add broccoli and cook on low all day. I sometimes add a

(cooked) shredded chicken breast to it near the end of cooking if

there's going to be more than the three of us for dinner.

    Good luck!

    Denise

This is a really simple recipe. However I have a few Questions: Are you saying to use the entire 2 lb. box of Velveeta? Isn't that a lot of cheese in proportion to the broth? How much does the recipe yield? It sounds like it would be very thick. Is it? It seems kind of expensive with the entire package of Velveeta. In this area it's around $4.00. Plus the other ingredients...... Is this a C/P recipe? If not, does the cheese scorch? Also, is it safe to cookall day? I've heard that cheese "breaks down" after long periods of cooking. (whatever that means) TIA
