Uses for Old Carpeting or Carpet Remnants
Anyone have any ideas on what old carpets can be used for?
~ Use to line bottoms of cupboards or the boot of the car -
~Use a piece of carpet to insulate winter boots. Trace your foot on a piece of paper, then cut out the tracing and use it as a pattern to cut a piece of carpet to fit inside your boots.
~Also ideal for lining pet's baskets
~lagging for pipes
~use as doormats
~Small pieces are great to put underneath plant pots on windowsills so they don't damage the surface
~Use a piece of carpet to clean metal screens. Nail a scrap of carpet to a
wooden block and gently brush the screen.
~If you have cats, staple carpet scraps to a post or board for a scratching post.
