I recently tried freezing a gallon of milk and it tasted just fine after defrosting. When milk is on sale and you have freezer room, give it a try.

I've wondered how much cheese a gallon of milk would make. Do you use whole milk or 2% and does it make a difference? Thank you, Gail

While the best milk to use is fresh from the animal, you can use any milk, even powdered, to make cheese. Thanks; Virginia
