Hey! I am planning to buy a treadmill this week to get rid of my

healthclub costs. I want something $1000-$1200 and have been looking at

a newer model Nordic Track (A2550).

I would love if you would email me with any suggestions, tips etc. on

what you like/don't like about your treadmill and if you LOVE yours and

its in my price range, please let me know what kind you have. I really

want to be smart about my choice so that it will get a lot of use out

    of it.

    Thanks a bunch!

We have a Precor- don't know what hubby paid for it, but it is wonderful- very heavy duty-I have only seen them in health clubs before he came home with ours. HTH Lisa G.

Mine is an Image from Wal Mart and I paid under $600.00. I like mine a lot.

I would check into if there are places that have gently used equipment for sale. There is one near here and we got a treadmill that retails for 2500 but paid 800 because it had been used by a health club for 1 year.

I got a Pro Form treadmill several years ago that I still use today. At the

time, I got it from QVC, and I think they still sell them. Search

The people delivered it and brought it inside our home, which was great. Mine

has a built in fan, which I love and the walking poles too. Newer models even

have built in t.v.'s, but I don't see the point for my own use, since it is in

our family room, where I can watch t.v. and exercise at the same time. Another

thing I love about mine is that it folds up when I am not using it.

I know that I did not pay anywhere near $1000 for it.

I think sells them as well. Esp this time of year, when New Years

    resolutions kick in.

Check on craigslist, people are always selling them inexpensively.
