    Default Whole crockpot chicken

I made this for dinner tonight. Yum!

    A 3-4 pound whole chicken
Any seasoning you like I used Adobo seasoning
Foil made into a ring or wedges of veggies like onions or carrots

Rinse the chicken and clean it out. Dry the chicken and season.Put the foil ring or veggies in the bottom of a 6 qt crockpot. Place the chicken over the ring/veggies. Cook on high for 4 hours.

I cook mine for a little over 4 hours and it's tender and delicious.

    Enjoy!

    Default Re: Whole crockpot chicken

Well here are some notes. First the skin does not crisp so it can be removed if desired. I cooked my chicken breast up and it got dried out. Next time I think I'll cook it breast side down. Cooking the bird in the crockpot kept my kitchen cool and that was a big plus.
