    Default Ink refills...do it YOURSELF

Did you know that you don't have to buy most ink cartridges for your

computer printer. You can buy the refill kits for around $13 at

Walgreens drug store or other stores. Some of the malls have refill

kiosks too where you bring your cartridge in and they fill it for you.

I have a Dell computer so I can't get refills as far as I know because

they have exclusive rights. I can only buy new cartridges from their

website. The refill kits for most cartridges are sometimes located

    near camera film.

You can get about LOTS of refills for just that $13-15 cost. Basically

you open the little plug on your cartridge, take the syringe provided

in the kit and insert it in the bottle of ink, squeeze into cartridge.

    Done

I did this for my old Cannon bubble jet printer.

Hope this saves you some money.

its a nice concept in theory, but it doesn't always work. I've tried it on 3 printers, and it only worked on 1. The ink came out gloppy and messed up my printers. I followed the directions exactly, but it was a terrible experience. Now I will only buy OEM cartridges on ebay. I will even buy the remanufactured ones on eBay with better results that the refill kits.

It is pretty easy to take them to WALGREENS and get them to refill them. It costs $10. for black and $15. for color. They do a fairly good job.

Unfortunately we are in a very small area and we don't have walgreens

. I would definately try it if one was close enough.
