    Default Members Being Contacted Offlist

It has come to my attention that a spammer is pushing her "work at

home OPPORTUNITY" to members offlist by harvesting their email addies

    from messages here On list.

Yahoogroups has policies against this, as do we. If you are solicited

offlist by another member, please forward the email (with complete

headers - fwd the email as an attachment) to liss@budget101.com and I

    will deal with them.

We get alot of spam to the list- people trying to advertise their fly

by night work at home schemes, pyramid schemes and even some legit

companies. Before we send this stuff out to all of you, we research the

heck out of it, ask the tough questions and many of them don't respond,

or it becomes clear from their responses that they're full of crap.

Perhaps we should start a new thread- Tips on Recognizing Spam/Scheme

    work at home Tips....

Thanks for the tip Liss! I have always known that a real job does not ask you for money, they pay you money. I would love to see more information on this because there is so much identity theft going on and the scammers are getting smarter so that means we need to educate ourselves.
