    Default Crockpot Meatloaf

    2/3 c oats or bread crumbs
    1/3 cup catsup, plus 2 tbsp. set aside
    1 package onion soup mix
    1 large egg
    1 tbsp worestershire sauce
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    2 lbs lean ground beef(85%or better).

    combine everything except beef, mix well. Add beef and mix. shape into loaf.
    Place on a rack, (so it doesn't sit in fat as it cooks), and pat down

    alittle. cover and cook on low for 6-7 hrs. After almost done, cover with 2
    tbsp. of catsup. Turn crockpot on high and cook for an additional 15 min.
    The catsup helps to keep it moist. A rack is a must, and it also helps to
    drain off any fat as it cooks, if using beef that is under 90%fat free.
