Default wedding food on a budget

Hi, I am planning a wedding 9 months from now and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get a caterer or someone to make some side kinds of food, not a sit down meal...and also any ideas on food i could have?

First pick an off time and day. Saturaday afternoon/evening you will be paying top dollar. Try for a friday late morring ceramony and you can have a finger food bruch to follow as the reception. This way the cost of alchol is avoided by the time of day and belive me that adds up and you can have cute less expessive food. apptizers, fresh fruit, ect. You can speak with a caterer if you choose of even go to like Sam's club or GFS and get the fancy appitizer in bulk and just have a nice spread. :smt060
