I was watching on the TV the other day when a lady made beaded curtains out of bottle cap lids. She got people to save them for her and they were really pretty when she finished with them. Best of all they were free!!!!!!!!!!!

A show on the diy network make some beaded curtains recently. You

could check the website. the show was creative juice, and they used

clear straw, chunky yarn and beads. Sounds awful, but looked good,

    at least on tv.

Try Spencer's if you have one at your local mall (they tend to carry

the unique). Otherwise I see a craft project in your daughter's future!

Copy the picture from the website and print for reference. Purchase the

supplies, this way you can customize the colors, etc... and have fun

being crafty with your daughter. Just my 2 cents. Don't know if this

will help or not. Hope it does!

If you know someone who works at a clinic or a healthcare setting, you can ask them to put a note on the med counter for others to save the tops off the liquid medication bottles (the type you insert a syringe into). The bottles have flat protective covers in a variety of bright colors, you just flip it off with your thumb before you use the bottle for the first time. Someone where I work did this...asked everyone to save these things for her daughter's craft project. They're pretty, come in a variety of sizes. The insides, at least, are sterile, and they're flat so they'd hang nicely if you glued them to a string.
