    Here's a blend that's a favorite with teenagers.

    Blemish Fighter

    5 drops Lavender
    5 drops Tea Tree
    5 drops Lemon

Blend together and store in an amber or cobalt bottle.
Use the end of a cotton swab to apply tiny amounts to blemishes.

Could you put them in a file on the group site? That would be wonderful.

    Thanks,

Please make a new folder on the groupsite... maybe called cosmetics or
skin care? You can copy & paste each into an individual text file
there. Or lump it all into a big text file.

    WOW!!!
    Okay...more please...
I have really bad dry skin, I saw some you have for dry skin but what about the
bottom of your feet? Its so bad that they are always cracking..any ideas?
Then my oldest (13) seems to have more oily skin, breakout's and blackheads?
My youngest...she has really bad itchy skin and so far I can only get things to
sooth it for about an hour, shes only 5 and I feel so bad for her.
Thank You for any ideas that you may have, I actually saved all of your others

I used to have really badly cracked feet, especially around the heels.
It was painful, and sometimes my feet would bleed. Then I had foot
surgery and afterwards I had to wear orthotics/braces and orthopedic
shoes ALL THE TIME, with white cotton socks. I USED TO GO BAREFOOT
ALMOST ALL THE TIME. My foot doctor says going barefoot is one of the
worst things you can do to your feet. Now my feet are soft and
pretty. It is amazing. I seldom use any cream or lotion on them. It
took several months, but it really did work.

Cucumber Cold Cream by Janice Cox
The natural astringent powers of cucumber make this mild cold cream very
effective...to prolong the shelf-life of this cream, place it in the
    refrigerator.

    INGREDIENTS
    1/4 teaspoon borax powder
    1 Tablespoon distilled water
    1/4 cup mineral oil
    1 Tablespoon grated beeswax
1 Tablespoon fresh cucumber juice (made by liquefying a chopped cucumber
in the blender and straining off the juice)

    INSTRUCTIONS

Dissolve the borax in the water in a glass measuring cup and set aside.

Mix together the oil and beeswax in another glass measuring cup.

Place the glass cup in a pan of water. Heat the oil-beeswax mixture in the
water bath over medium heat until the beeswax is fully melted.

When the wax is melted, bring the borax water to almost boiling. Remove the
oil-beeswax from the heat and slowly pour in the borax-water while stirring
    briskly.

Add the cucumber juice to this mixture and stir thoroughly. You can whip the
mixture in the blender if you wish.

Cool completely and pour into a clean container with a lid.

The cream will thicken as it cools. To use, massage a small amount into your
skin and tissue off or rinse off with warm water.

    Jojoba-Grapefruit Nighttime Body Moisturizer
    Smooths dry skin

    What's in it:
    3 tablespoons jojoba oil
    3 drops grapefruit essential oil
1 grapefruit (or about ? cup of peel)

How it works: Grapefruit is a source of AHAs, while jojoba oil
lubricates the skin and keeps it smooth. --------------

How to make it: Combine the oils and set aside. Next, remove the
yellow skin of the grapefruit with a vegetable peeler, avoiding the
white pith underneath. Toss the peel into the oil mixture until it's
coated. Set it aside to infuse for at least 24 hours. Remove the peel,
squeezing it against a spoon to retain as much of the oil as possible
and discard. Pour the mixture into a storage container.

How to use it: This refreshing body moisturizer works while you sleep.
Be sure to wash it all off in the morning, however, because, like
other citruses, grapefruit is a photosensitizer that can cause skin to
    discolor in the sun.

    Re: Budget101.com : skin care

    Basic Cleansing Cream

7 ounces almond or apricot kernel oil
    3/4 ounce beeswax
    10 ounces distilled water
    1 teaspoon borax
    25 drops rosemary essential oil
    15 drops lavender essential oil
    10 drops orange essential oil

Place beeswax and base oil in a heatproof measuring cup in a hot
water bath. Stir occasionally until the beeswax is melted. Remove
from heat and let cool to body temperature. Meanwhile, dissolve borax
in distilled water that you have heated to body temperature and add
the essential oils to this borax/water blend. Pour the oil mixture
into a bowl and begin beating using a one-blade hand mixer. Slowly
add the borax water, beating until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes.

    (Microwave)
The olive oil steeps with rosemary for 24 hours, adding a pleasant
scent to this cream. Aloe vera gel gives it a soothing feel.
    You will need:
6 tbsp olive or safflower oil
    2 tbsp dried rosemary
    2 tbsp lard
    1 oz beeswax
    3 tbsp aloe vera gel
Put the oil and rosemary in a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat for 5 minutes on High power (100 percent). Leave the oil and
rosemary to sit for 24 hours.
Strain the oil and discard the rosemary. Add the lard and beeswax to
the rosemary scented oil, and heat on High until the lard and beeswax
melt, 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the aloe vera get. Beat until the
    mixture is smooth and creamy.

    Dry Skin Moisturizer

    2 oz Cocoa Butter
    1 T Olive Oil
    10 drops Sesame Seed Oil
    20 drops Gentle Baby
    5 drops Neroli
    3 drops Rose
    5 drops Lavender
    5 drops Geranium
1/2 cup Cold Expeller pressed Safflower Oil

Gently melt cocoa butter. When melted, combine olive oil, sesame oil,
and safflower oil in a dark glass jar. Shake. Allow to cool a few
minutes and add the remaining oils. Shake again.
I keep this in the shower. As soon as I turn the water off, I splash
off the excess water with my hands (not a towel, it removes too much
water) and then apply the After Shower Moisturizer to my heart's
    content.
