First, here are some frugal Sunburn soothers:

Second, perhaps you could wear an oversize hat to help keep the sun off

your face.

I got a terrible sunburn at our recent parade, I bought an aloe vera plant cut it into usable chunks and froze it, nothing soothed it better then aloe pops.

Get some black teabags, hold them under cool running water, and put them directly on your face. The tannin in the black tea will draw the poison and pain of the sunburn to the surface.
As to going again, I wouldn'! Or else take a big hat to wear, along with a baggie of wet teabags to put on your burn. But that's very dangerous to go back out so soon again, with a burn...!!!!

You need a good hat to shade your face. To help your burn, you can
use aloe lotion or gel. A pharmacist told me NOT to use solarcaine
or ANYTHING with lidocaine in it. She learned in school that it
actually burns your skin even more. Something else you could use to
cool the burn is noxema (she recommended this).

Good luck and find a BIG umbrella to hide under!!!
