    Default Smoothie Recipes

    Creamy Peach Smoothies



    Makes:2 servings (1 cup each)



    1 cup sliced peaches (from 10-oz bag)

    1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free French vanilla

    yogurt

    3/4 cup orange juice

    1 tablespoon honey



    1. In blender or food processor, place all ingredients. Cover; blend

    on high speed about 1 minute or until smooth.

    2. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.

    Strawberry Smoothie



    Prep Time:10 min

    Start to Finish:10 min

    Makes:1 serving



    1 container (6 ounces) strawberry, strawberry kiwi or strawberry

    mango yogurt

    1/2 cup sliced fresh or frozen strawberries

    1/2 cup orange or pineapple juice

    Pineapple chunks, strawberries or kiwifruit slices, if desired



    1. Place yogurt, strawberries and juice in blender. Cover and blend

    on medium speed about 2 minutes or until smooth.

    2. Garnish with pineapple.

    Spa Smoothies



    Prep Time:10 min

    Start to Finish:10 min

    Makes:3 servings (1 cup each)



    2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt

    1 bag (10 oz) frozen organic strawberries

    2 tablespoons orange juice

    1 tablespoon honey



    1. In blender, place all ingredients. Cover; blend on medium speed

    until smooth. Add more honey to taste if desired.

    2. Pour into 3 glasses. Serve immediately.

    Blueberry Smoothies



    Prep Time:5 min

    Start to Finish:5 min

    Makes:2 servings (1 cup each)



    1 cup frozen organic blueberries (from 10-oz bag)

    1/2 cup 8th Continent® vanilla soymilk or fat-free (skim) milk

    1 container (6 oz) 99% Fat Free lemon burst or French vanilla yogurt

    Honey, if desired



    1. In blender, place blueberries, soymilk and yogurt. Cover; blend on

    high speed about 1 minute or until smooth. Sweeten to taste with

    honey.

    2. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.

    Key Lime-Banana Smoothie



    Prep Time:10 min

    Start to Finish:10 min

    Makes:2 servings (1 cup each)



    1 container (6 ounces) Key lime pie low-fat yogurt

    1 ripe banana, sliced

    1/2 cup milk

    1 tablespoon lime juice

    1/4 teaspoon dry lemon lime-flavored soft drink mix (from 0.13-ounce

    package)

    1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt



    1. Place all ingredients except frozen yogurt in blender. Cover and

    blend on high speed until smooth.

    2. Add frozen yogurt. Cover and blend until smooth.

    This is similar to one of my favorite hot weather foods except I use a can

    of peaches, juice and all, and 1 cup of plain yogurt.



    I buy several cases of canned peaches in the fall from Kroger when they have

    their case lot sale and much of the time in this area, large containers of

    plain yogurt are on sale, making this fairly cheap.



    Sometimes I also use cheap ice cream instead of yogurt.
