Fourth of July Patriotic Cupcakes

What you'll need:

For cookies

1 bag M&M'S Brand Milk Chocolate Candies Red, White and Blue Blend

1/2 cup flour

1 18-oz. refrigerated cookie dough

2 cans vanilla frosting

Blue food coloring

1 tube decorating chocolate frosting

24 lollipop sticks or small craft sticks

2 resealable plastic bags

2 cookie sheet pans

For cupcakes

1 bag SNICKERS Brand Minis

1 bag M&M'S Brand Milk Chocolate Candies Red, White & Blue Blend

1 18.25-oz. chocolate cake mix

2 jumbo cupcake pans

12 jumbo cupcake liners

What to do:

Flag Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the sheet pans with parchment paper.

Knead the flour into the dough and roll to a 1/4-inch thickness.

Using the printable template cut 12 flags, re-rolling the scraps as

necessary. Insert 2 lollipop sticks into the back of the cookies and

place on the cookie sheets.

Bake for approximately 12-17 minutes, or until golden. Remove from

the oven, transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.

Tint 3/4 cup of the vanilla frosting blue and spoon into a resealable

plastic bag with a corner snipped. Spoon the remaining vanilla

frosting into another bag with a corner snipped. Pipe a small square

with blue frosting on the top left corner of the cookie. Pipe the

rest of the cookie with vanilla frosting. Using the photo as your

guide, attach red and white M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies. Pipe

chocolate frosting at the top of the pole and set cookies aside to



Meanwhile, line the cupcake pans with paper cupcake liners.

Roughly chop 2 cups of SNICKERS® Brand Minis. Prepare the cake mix

according to package instructions, fold in the chopped SNICKERS®

Brand Minis. Divide batter between the prepared cupcake pans.

Bake for approximately 23-27 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted

in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven, transfer to a

wire rack and let cool completely.

With the vanilla frosting, pipe dots around the top of the cupcakes.

Randomly decorate the top with blue M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate

Candies. Press the flag cookies into the center of the cupcakes.

For a flag that's not waving: cut cookie dough into rectangles

1/12"x2" then continue to follow instructions

Makes 12 cupcakes and cookies.


SNICKERS Independence Day Delight

Prep time: 20 min.

Decoration time: 20 min.

What you'll need:

1 bag SNICKERS Brand Miniatures, chopped

1 5.1-oz. box instant vanilla pudding

2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream

1 pint strawberries, leaves removed and cut into 1/8-inch slices

2 16-oz. family size frozen pound cakes, thawed

1 cup blueberries

1 ceramic dish (8-1/2 x 11-inch)

What to do:

Prepare pudding mix according to package directions. Set aside.

Cut the two pound cakes into 1-inch squares.

Assemble in the ceramic dish. Start with a layer of half of the cake

squares; top with a layer of chopped SNICKERS® Brand Miniatures;

cover with a layer of vanilla pudding; and top with the remaining

cake squares.

Spread the whipped topping over the very top.

Decorate the top to look like a flag: Make 5 red stripes using the

sliced strawberries. Then, in the top left-hand corner, fill a 4 x 3-

inch area with blueberries for the stars.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

What you'll need:

1 bag M&M'S Brand Milk Chocolate Candies

1 16-oz. can prepared vanilla frosting

1 box 16-oz. pound cake mix

1 bag regular fruit twists

Butter or solid shortening

Waxed paper

8 6-oz. aluminum juice cans

What to do:

From the waxed paper, cut 4 x 6-1/2-inch rectangles and 2-inch


Liberally brush the insides of the juice cans with the butter.

Line the cans with the waxed paper, by first pressing the circles

into the bottom and then lining the inner sides with the rectangles.

Prepare the cake mix and fill the juice cans about three-quarters


Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Once baked, cool the cakes for 10 minutes and then remove and unmold

them. Cool the cakes completely before decorating.

Ice the cakes. Decorate the sides and top with M&M'S® Brand Milk

Chocolate Candies.
