When ever chicken quarters are on sale .39/lb - .49/lb in 10 lb bag, I usually buy at least a couple. I then rinse, pat dry all the chicken pieces and portion them out to 4 quarters each freezer bag, then freeze. In each 10 lb bag, there's at least 12 quarters, so I usually end up with about 6 meals for less than $10. Factoring in the s and p, and bbq sauce,(bought on sale for .69), the cost of this recipe is less than $2.39.

Baked BBQ Chicken

4-5 chicken quarters
salt and pepper
1 bottle bbq sauce

1. Rinse and pat dry chicken. Sprinkle salt and pepper onto chicken.
2. Place into a prepared crock pot or foil lined baking pan.

3. Add bbq sauce, spread to ensure even coverage.
4. Top with crock pot lid or cover with foil.
5. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until internal
temp reaches 180 degrees on food thermometer.
