    Hi,

I usually lurk and I've learned a LOT from you! Thank

you! Now, I have a question. My son got ballpoint

pen ink on the sleeve of a new shirt. Anyone know how

to remove it? It's a yellow shirt, so we don't want

to try any kind of bleach.

    Thanks!

Hi Lynn, Try ZOUT It comes in a spray bottle or a thicker gell in a squirt bottle. I found it ook out ink when an older woman I was working for used to get ink on he white sweatshirt jacket. It does not bleach but wll remove the ink. I used the gell I just squirted some on, rubbed it in and then washed. Gail NE PA

    Default Question About Ink Removal

Thank you all so much - those of you who responded to

my question about removing ballpoint pen ink from my

son's shirt. I never would have thought of hair spray

in a million years and you all mentioned it. I'll try

    that, then the antibacterial lotion.

I knew someone here would have the answer!

Also, if you try something and it does not work or

does not take it all out, DO NOT put the shirt in the

dryer. Just let it dry naturally. Then you can try

and wash again with another treatment, or something

different. But once you dry it in the dryer, the

    stain is pretty much set.

    Default Question About Ink Removal

Living on a farm in the 40's/50's, I didn't grow up eating desserts as part

of a meal; we did have dessert type things as part of coffee breaks,

however. Pudding was common because it was cheap; we had our own eggs and

    milk.

Strictly speaking, custard is eggs and milk and is baked; pudding is milk

and cornstarch and is cooked on top of the stove. This recipe combines the

nutrition of custard with the ease and speed of pudding.

And it is cheaper than the boxed pudding you get in the grocery store. Here

in Great Falls, puddings are over 50 cents for 4 servings. With the current

price of milk, the cost for 4 servings is about $.90. This will cost you

about half that ($.13/serving estimated) and is far more nutritious, all for

the cost of about 5 minutes in time
