3 lb whole chicken, skinned and cut into pieces
4 c tomatoes
1 green, yellow, orange or red sweet pepper, cut into strips
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp salt
1 tbl fresh oregano or 1 tsp dried
1 tbl fresh basil or 1/2 tsp dried
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 c white wine (opt)
1 c mushrooms, chopped (opt)

*Combine in slow cookers on low for 8 hours/or high for 4 hours
*Serve over pasta or noodles
