    Default Was: Maternity Clothes

Charmaine, You didn't get any comments about wearing mens shirts? I was just
wondering... I am a larger woman (I am a size 30/32 blouse and size 24/26 pants
US sizing) and women's dress shirts in my size are ridiculously expensive. So I
ordered some mens big and tall catalogs to find some t-shirts and there are some
dress shirts in it I really like (they are silk even) but I was worried that if
I bought them people would comment on the buttons being on the wrong side and
all that. The price difference makes it worth it really though... Would save
me 10.00 - 20.00 per dress shirt and almost a 5.00 savings on brand new, heavy
weight t-shirts. I am just afraid people would notice that they were men's
shirts and look on it negatively in an office setting.

denver office of met life insurance as a temp and the boss told me I
always dress nice and that supervisors were noticing. So I would not
give it a second thought were what you want. Anyone who notices is
    standing too close.LOL

These days women wear men's clothes and jewelry more than you
notice. I have a men's watch that I LOVE. It fits loose and looks
really nice with a white shirt. I am also presently wearing my
husband's wedding band as my young son lost mine. It is obviously a
man's ring but I have gotten many compliments on how nice the wide
band looks. I am only wearing it temporarily but I have kind of
grown fond of it! I don't wear many men's shirts only because I am
pretty short and they hang too low but I know ladies who do and they
    always look nice.
