    Default Crockpot Onions

Hi Emily. I am way behind on my digets so if you've already answered
this than please just ignore it and i'll catch up! lol I read that
you use the crockpot to carmalize onions. How do you do this? I
know how to do it on the stove but can't seem to figure it out for
the crock. I'd love your recipie or technique!

    TIA, Maya in San Diego

I have also used it to carmelize huge amounts of onions, which I then

freeze in serving size portions for using on top of grilled steaks. I
also use it for chicken... The amount of recipes for the crock are
    just staggering.

I've finally gotten all caught up on my digets! Pheeewwww! I got the
very detailed recipie that you sent to the list and I thank you for
it. I can't wait to try it out and have a healty supply of
carmalised onions in the freezer just waiting for a steak or chicken
breast to go on. Thanks so much for the information! Have you found
that the onions get all broken up when you use them again or are they
still in strips like they would be if you had just done them?
