Your scratches will look more realistic if you apply drips of blood rather than
a full line.

SUPPLIES: black stipple sponge, maroon eye shadow, black makeup pencil, fake
blood, popsicle stick

1. Use a black stipple sponge (available where theatrical makeup is sold) to
lightly brush maroon makeup across cheek to simulate scratches. If you don't
have a stipple sponge, you can also use an eyeliner brush or a maroon makeup
pencil.

2. Accent scratches with a sharpened black makeup pencil. Avoid drawing a solid
line; you'll achieve a more realistic effect if it's broken up.

3. Applied thin, broken lines of fake blood (such as Fresh Scab) with a popsicle
stick.
