Default Affordable health insurance for freelancers

In case anyone remembers my plea yesterday for NBC's info on affordable
health insurance for freelancers (which they said was posted on their
site), it showed up today -- http://www.wnbc.com/money/2261143/detail.html

Thanks to all who tried to help.

Default Re: Affordable health insurance for freelancers

A few years ago DH and I along with 2 kids were without health
insurance. DH made $11 a month too much money to qualify for state
assistance. I was attending college and found health insurance for
the family for something like $110 a month that covered any
hospitalization up to $50,000 and paid up to $30 for doctors visits.
It was not the best insurance in the world but was much better than
receiving the 1 bill I got when my son had to visit the hospital with
a fever seizure...it was $1800 which would have been covered with
this small plan. As a freelance writer you may find it handy to keep
up with your education and find cheaper insurance in the long run.
My college only required 1 class which could have been gym for all
    they cared. Kim in MI
