pizzelle irons- Budget101 Discussion List

I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone knew of a good pizzelle iron. My son is autistic and allergic to wheat gluten and dairy so I am having to find a way to make imitation ice cream cones for imitation ice cream. Any ideas on where to find this would be helpful. Alicia

    Hi Alicia,

Check Walmart. I need to buy another one now too. Mine was broken
in a move, but Salton puts out a nice one with lovely designs, and it
was $20 not that long ago. I doubt you could find one of the non-
electric ones unless you head to an Italian market, and those will
    probably be substantially more pricey.

    Hope that helps.

Sweet Celebrations (formerly Maid of Scandinavia, which declared
bankruptcy) had them. They're online. I prefer the non-electric, but I
have a gas stove (which may make a difference).
