Budget101.com : Snacks & Quick and Easy Meals
Wishing you a safe delivery! Congrats. I have a super easy recipe that is
always a hit. Excuse the funny name, my son named it yrs ago when we were
trying to give it a name beside "moms special." HAHA
1-1/2lbs of lean ground beef cooked, drained
1- can of Stewed tomatoes (Italian style)
1/4c. chopped onion
1/4teasp. garlic powder (or what ever you have on hand)
Salt-Pepper to taste
4oz (precooked weight) prepared, drained
Mix ALL ingred. well in large skillet. simmer for 30-45 min. Serve warm.
FOR AN EXTRA KICK I SOMETIMES USE THE ROTEL MILD TOMATOES. CAN BE SLIGHTLY
SPICY FOR YOUNG TASTE BUDS THOUGH.
Goes great with salad, corn, green beans, bread. Connie

Hi Michelle, congratulations on your third baby! I don't have any children
myself but I would sugest subscribing to Friendly Freezer as it's chock full
of ideas and the moderators are *very* tolerant and friendly towards those
unfamiliar with their concepts, or meal planning in general.
First off, visit the list owner's site, Robbyn's Friendly-Freezer website at
and to subscribe to send an email to
other ideas would be to do a search for frugal, freezer cooking, OAMC or
household budgeting and you will find many resources!
