      Fruit Drinks
      Smoothies and shakes are great for breakfast or cooling off on a hot
      summer day…healthy, nutritious and so easy to prepare!

      Cranberry-Banana Smoothie
      1 cup orange juice
      1 cup cranberry juice
      3 ripe bananas
      1 cup ice cubes
      Using a blender combine juices and ice.
      Add bananas and blend until smooth. Yum!
      2 to 3 servings.

      Blueberry-Orange Smoothie
      1/2 cup frozen blueberries thawed
      1 banana
      1/2 cup orange juice
      3/4 cup plain Yogurt
      1/2 tsp. vanilla
      Blend together until smooth Serves 2

      Kiwi-Pineapple Smoothie
      2 cups pineapple juice
      3 kiwis peeled
      2 bananas
      2 cups ice
      Serves 2 to 3
      Combine fruit and juice. Add ice, blend until smooth Serves 3-4

      Peachy Peach Smoothie
      1 cup peach yogurt
      1/2 cup evaporated milk
      1 cup frozen peaches, chopped
      1/2 cup peach sorbet
      1/4 tsp. cinnamon
      In blender combine yogurt and milk.
      Add rest of ingredients and blend
      Makes 2 servings

      Watermelon-Lime Smoothie
      1 1/2 cups chopped watermelon
      1 1/2 cups chopped honeydew melon
      juice of 2 limes
      1 cup plain yogurt
      1 cup ice cubes
      Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth Serves 4

      Tropical Fruit Smoothie
      1 small banana
      2 tbsp. coconut milk
      2 tbsp. lime juice
      1/4 cup orange juice
      1/4 cup pineapple juice
      1/2 tsp. grated ginger
      3 ice cubes
      Blend until smooth. Enjoy! 1 delicious serving

      Island Fruit Shake
      1 papaya
      1/2 cup drained pineapple
      1 banana
      1/2 cup low fat milk
      Blend all fruit first
      then add the milk amd blend again Makes 1 to 2 servings

      Apricot-Strawberry Shake
      1 fresh apricot, chopped
      1/2 cup crushed, drained pineapple
      2/3 cup strawberries
      1 banana
      1/3 cup milk
      Blend all fruit, then add milk
      and blend until smooth Serves 1 to 2
      ~~~~~~~~~~
      Banana Coffee Shake
      1/3 cup chilled strong coffee
      1/2 cup milk
      2 bananas
      Combine all in blender
      Makes 1 yummy drink
