Walnut Cherry Delight???
I went to message 3396...no recipe for the Walnut Cherry Delight. Type in the words and hit go for the message and nothing...it sounds good. Wondering how one does find that particular recipe....va

Walnut Cherry Delight
$$$ Sunday Dinner, desserts
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
1/2 cup coconut, flaked
1/2 cup walnuts; finely chopped
8 ounces cream cheese; softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
21 ounce cherry pie filling
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped coarsley
Combine flour, brown sugar and butter; blend to find crumbs. Add
and finely chopped walnuts; mix well. Set aside 1/2 cup of this
mixture. Pack remainder into bottom of greased 9x13x2 inch baking
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 15 minutes or until edges
lightly browned. (Watch Carefully, burn easy)
Meanwhile, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg and
vanilla. Beat together till very smooth; spread over hot baked
layer. Return to oven for 10 minutes longer.
Remove from oven and spread cherry pie filling over cheese layer.
