The great thing about microwaving regular popcorn is that you DON'T
need any oil, butter, shortning at all to make it work. So it
becomes just as healthy, (and cheap!) as air popped with the
convieniences of the microwave. You just place about 1/4 cup into a
paper bag and fold over the top of the bag. You can secure the fold
with masking tape which is microwave safe so that the popcorn doesn't
fly all over the microwave. It peels right off when you are done
popping the corn. You pop just as you would store bought microwave
popcorn for a fration of the price.
