    Fire Hand Painted Soaps

A nice gift idea or craft fair item...
Go to the dollar store or Walmart, pick up bars of soap that have atleast one smooth side. I use Ivory most of the time. Get some acrylic paints or even sponges and paint flowers, hearts, whatever on the smooth side. Let them dry them apply a few coats of sealer. You only have to seal the top or smooth side that you have painted. The soap is still useable and the design will not come off when used. Once dry, stack a few and tie a ribbon or scrap piece of fabric around to keep together. Great little teacher gift! If you're not good with painting, I'm sure you could even put glitter or glue tissue paper scraps down, whatever. Only your imaginations the limit.

I've sold these at craft fairs for $5-$8 each and given them as gifts!!!!
