    Default Apple Cinnamon Quick Bread

    you know all the sales that they have on apples and they just aren't tasty enough? go ahead and take advantage of the sales and use those apples in this easy-to-make bread. you'll get the nutrition inside the tummies of your family and take advantage of sales! whole-wheat pastry flour not in your budget? no problem! go ahead and substitute all-purpose flour. it'll taste just fine I tend to bake alot of bread, so I just grab the flour when it's on sale and keep it in the freezer. hope you like this versatile recipe...
    Apple Cinnamon Quick Bread
    1/2 lb butter
    1 1/2 C honey
    5 eggs, beaten
    3 T vanilla
    1 C plain yogurt or buttermilk
    4 1/2 C whole wheat pastry flour
    2 t baking powder
    2 t baking soda
    1 t nutmeg
    4 t cinnamon
    3 1/2 c chopped apples
    Cream butter, honey, eggs, and vanilla together, set aside. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl, add the wet items and the apples and stir in. Pour into greased loaf pans, muffin cups, square, round or whatever and bake approx 45 minutes at 350 til it passes the knife test.
