    Default Beef-n-Broccoli Casserole

    • 2 c. chopped broccoli (steamed or frozen)
    • 2 cups cooked rice
    • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
    • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • butter
    • 1 pound ground beef or turkey

    Saute the onion in butter, add the ground beef or turkey, cook until no longer pink. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a 2 qt casserole dish, bake at 350 for 30 minutes

    Normally during the holidays, you can buy cream of (insert flavor here) soups dirt cheap, but the rest of the year, they can be as expensive as $1.25 per can! Here's my cream of Whatever you need soup mix:

    This recipe works really well for chicken also. I cooked this for church quite a few times and it went over really well.
