      Hot Creole Seasoning Mix

      1/2 cup salt
      1/4 cup paprika -- plus
      1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
      1/4 cup white pepper
      1/4 cup garlic powder
      1/4 cup onion powder
      3 tablespoons red pepper
      2 tablespoons dried whole oregano
      2 tablespoons dried whole thyme
      1 tablespoon
      pepper
      1 teaspoon ground bay leaves.

      Combine spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar). Measure all into a ziploc bag, seal & shake to combine. Pour into a spice jar or bottle. Makes a Lovely Gift.

        Not as hot as we like it, but it is very tasty. I use it in almost everything I cook. Love it in Greens. lol yeah we are a bit strange.

        Above is a jar of creole seasoning mix, I doubled the recipe and this is how much it made. However, as much as we use it, it doesn't last long.
