Apple Cider Syrup

Create a delicious light apple cider syrup to add a little zip to your favorite pancakes, waffles and fritters . . .
You'll Need
1/2 C. sugar
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 C. apple juice
1 Tbs lemon juice
2 Tbs margarine or butter
Combine sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch in a small saucepan,
mixing well. Add both juices and cook over med heat until thickened and no longer cloudy, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in the margarine until melted.
Serve in a syrup pitcher, refrigerate up to 10 days.
