1 1/3 cups instant nonfat dry milk powder
3/4 cup instant flour (I use Wondra)
3 tablespoons instant chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tsp Turkey Seasoning
Combine milk powder, instant flour, bouillon granules, thyme, sage and pepper. Mix welling well. Divide into 4 small ziploc baggies, label as chicken gravy mix and add directions to complete.
Makes 4 Gravy Mixes.
To make chicken gravy:
2 T. Butter or Margarine
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup chicken gravy mix
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat, add water & gravy mix, whisking well until blended. Continue stirring with whisk until gravy is smooth and thick, about 3 minutes.
