    • 7-Up Biscuits Mix

      7-Up Biscuits Mix - the mix itself is pretty simple, you can use any quick-mix.

      4 cups (7-Up Biscuit Mix aka) Bisquick Baking Mix -- or All Purpose Mix
      1 cup Sour Cream
      6 ounces 7-Up

      Blend Sour Cream & Biscuit mix in a lg bowl until crumbly. Pour in 7Up blending with a fork. Knead dough briefly on floured surface Roll or pat down & cut into biscuits.

      Bake 7 minutes at 400 degrees F

        Yes, the biscuit "MIX" recipe amount was listed ABOVE IT, we've edited it and moved it lower so people don't miss it.

        so does anyone know if these biscuits freeze well and if so, how are they after frozen then cooked? i mean do they taste well? i know sometimes when you freeze things the taste alters a bit...thanks!

        I've made the 7 up recipe with a homemade biscuit mix made of white whole wheat flour, coconut oil cut in with my food processor, and yogurt subbed for sour cream. They were sooo good, and were still crisp on outside and soft inside when thawed and heated in toaster oven.

        These are the best and easiest bisuits, my family that is from the south could not believe that their northern family knew how to make biscuits, I just did not tell them how I made them. Thanks for this and all of the recipes that are awesome on this site.
