      Canine Swimmers Ear Formula

Solution to clean your pup's ears when he's done swimming:

      Juice from 1/2 lemon
      1 cup lukewarm water

Blend and apply to ears using an eyedropper. Massage mix into ear very gently and blot with clean cotton balls to remove excess mixture.

Never use cotton swabs such as Q-tips to clean your pets ears as they may cause damage to the ear drum.

We have a lab in the family....for 2 yrs has has chronic ear infections. I found a recipe and thought I'd try it. We had spent mega $$$$ on RX meds and cleaners and they only work temporarily. This has worked wonderfully!!! Clean ears for 3 months now!

        White Vinegar
        Witch Hazel
        Distilled Water

Mix equal parts in squirt bottle, fill the ear canal, squish around for a few seconds, then wipe with cotton balls.
After doing this for 3 days his ears were clear! We've only cleaned them once a week since then and they are clean and trouble free!

Hello MamaRi: I have a Yorkie who suffers from ear infections. I noticed your remedy and wondered what the measurements of each ingredient would be?

For measurements it says, Mix equal parts in squirt bottle .

So 1/4 Cup of each Ingredient
or 1 cup of each ingredient
or 1 tsp of Each Ingredient, etc

depending on how much you want to make.

      Re: Our "new" Pet Bed

Very sweet! Thanks for sharing!! I know what you mean about your "babies", our oldest is 19 and he doesn't understand when I tell him he'll always be my baby, despite being 6' tall, lol. Kids and...

I'm always willing to share pics of my babies :newmom: (I have 2 two-legged, and 2 four-legged)! Of course, the word babies is a bit misleading as the human 2 are 24 & 21. LOL!

      Our "new" Pet Bed

Well, I'm not sure if this counts because it's more repurposing than making something... but what the heck!

When we had our old couch our little dog (a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Prince) was...

If you have an old chandelier hanging around, scrub it down, spray paint it white and attach a couple birdhouses onto it. You can use silicone adhesive so that it will be sturdy in the wind....
