Red Lobster's Citrus Cous Cous
8 ounces dry cous cous
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon freshly-ground white pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 can mandarin oranges
1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
Place water, salt sugar, pepper, and olive oil in a sauce pan and bring to
a boil. Remove from heat and add cous cous, cover and let stand for about
7 minutes.
Fold in oranges, juice, and fresh herbs. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
