Copycat: ORANGE JULIUS
ORANGE JULIUS COPYCAT RECIPE
1 c Orange juice
1 c Water
2 Eggs
3/4 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 c Granulated sugar
1 c Ice -- heaping cup
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender set on
High speed for exactly one minute.

The orange Julius people use a powder - and add eggs only if you ask - in
fact - since we have not HAD orange Julius around here for years - i
don't know if they are willing to risk raw eggs any more. I mix a
vanilla protein powder with OJ and ice - tastes like orange Julius to me!

do you mean I was drinking Raw eggs all this time? can you make it without the egg? or is there a way to temper them?

Here is my recipe for making orange julius. It's very
yummy!!
Orange Julius
1 -6 oz. can frozen orange juice
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
14 to 16 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 30
seconds or until well blended. Serve immediately.

I have a version my kids enjoy.
1 cup OJ
1/2-1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2-1 cup milk
1/4 cup vanilla whey protein powder
1 banana
6-12 cubes of ice
(optional: frozen tropical fruit: mango, pineapple)
put all ingredients in a blender. Mix until smooth.
Enjoy!
