Ideas for baby furniture
Hello, I am having a little girl on August 7th and I have yet to be able to get a crib/bassinet/cradle....at alll and she will be here soon. Have any of you made your own basic things for baby to sleep in? There isn't much out here locally for inexpensive or 2nd hand baby furniture.

Each of boys spent the first months sleeping in a wicker laundry basket. I bought it at Wal-Mart in the sewing area for under $10 and then bought a pillow and covered the pillow with a receiving blanket. They did outgrow it in a coule of months but it might buy you a little more time.
