      Roach Balls

Combine the following items to make a paste.
      1 cup borax
      1/4 cup granulated sugar
      1/4 cup chopped onion
      1 tablespoon cornstarch
      1 tablespoon water

Carefully roll into small balls and Place 2 or 3 balls into a sandwich baggie, leaving the top open. Carefully place these balls wherever the roaches may roam. They will eat them and die.

CAUTION: Hide these bags so that children and pets can't get at them as they contain ingredients that are not safe for either.

Did this work? I'd like to try something natural instead of those nasty sprays.

YEP! I will DEFINITELY be trying this TOMORROW. I've also read that lime essential oil kills them as well. I may even try a few variations with that.

If you take bars of Irish Spring and shave them all you have to do is put them around the edging of the home. Keep away from your kids and pets of course.

Re: Repurposing Old Items into New Things!

We used to live in an apartment building. One night while walking the dog I saw a broken chair laying (in several pieces) on the ground next to the dumpster. I don't know what came over me, but I...

Thanks for this information. This annoys me also. Since I only have a notebook, it also either delays loading page or freezes computer. Thanks again.

I have cut the top off of a tissue box to store milk storage bags in the fridge. Outside I have used a mailbox to put items I need for gardening. I have used an oat meal container to put my sons hot...

      DIY Belt Organizer

I was tired of my husbands belts always being draped over the bar in the closet and I came across this simple tip. Just take some small c-hook screws and screw them into a wooden coat-hanger. (All of...
