To make 8fl oz/225ml
4 teaspoons alum
2 teaspoons baking soda
8 floz/225ml rubbing alcohol
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle, shake well till dissolved. Use as you would any spray deodorant.
 

Other Ideas:

Baking Soda: Baking soda works wonders because it neutralizes the odor of sweat. Fill a small shaker container and just sprinkle a light covering of baking soda onto a damp washcloth. Pat on. Don’t rinse. For a scent you could add Cedar or Sage Essential oils for men or Lavender or Eucalyptus for women.

Basic Deodorant Powder:

Combine the following in a jar,
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
a few drops essential oils such as lavender (Cedar or Sage -for men). To use: apply with dry washcloth & dust on or use a sprinkle top on your jar and apply.

Basic Liquid Deodorant:

1/4 cup witch hazel extract
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vegetable glycerin
a few drops antibacterial Essential oils (lavender, Eucalyptus).
Combine all in a spray bottle, shake well. Will keep for almost ever..
