Jet Dry Alternative
Anyone know another product to use instead of Jet Dry in my
dishwasher? I have been going without for a while, and was hoping to
find a cheaper alternative. Thanks!

You can also use vinegar. Just pour it in where you put the Jet Dry.

Steam Cleaner Shampoo
One of our friends (who owns a steam cleaning business) said to do 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water in place of your steam cleaner shampoo.
We do this, and it works surprisingly well. However, we still have to treat spots differently.

I use Watkins's dry dishwashing detergent, which is less expensive
than most and works fine. I discovered this when 20/20 did that
profile on a severely handicapped man (Bill Porter) who worked very,
very hard as a door to door Watkins salesman. Like me, many, many
viewers wanted to know if he had a website. He didn't, but Watkins
wasn't stupid, and hastily got him one. I had never before used
anything from Watkins, but have been ordering from them ever since
(several years) and have been thoroughly delighted with everything
I've ordered. Plus they have a 100% money back guarantee, and free
shipping on orders over $75. This is Bill Porter's website, where I
always order (and I've been unfailingly pleased with everything)

Re: Jet Dry Alternative
For the Jet Dry Alternative Watkins brand dry dishwashing detergent =
I know this is an answer to an old post from 2006 I found a google search but still felt the need to correct a wrongly given website
It was a website for Bill Porter, the now famous, Independent Walkins Associate.
The correct website for him is http://www.billporter.com
that will take you to his Walkins Website. This man is now 75 or 76 years old and still selling Watlkins Products.
the website given before was for the corporate site only and nothing bought there gave credit to Mr. Porter. Like many others, I only buy my products to support him. He can no longer walk door to door and makes all his sales via his website on calling his loyal customers. This guy has been a real inspiration to me.
So go look at his site for this great Jet Dry Alternative
Thanks Maxine
