Make your own antiseptic spray

This simple make ahead recipe is great to have on hand for minor scrapes, cuts and for use after splinter extractions.

1 tsp iodine
3 tbsp isopropyl alcohol

Combine ingredients and store in an empty, clean travel size spray bottle (commonly available in the travel or sample size sections of drug stores). Spray on minor cuts, scrapes and abrasions.

Do not use on those allergic to iodine.
