15+ Ways to Alleviate Sunburn Fast

Here are some tips to take out the heat:
1 For instant sunburn relief fast, make a strong iced tea (made from infused teabags, no sugar please!) Specifically, the application of earl grey tea is particularly effective in relieving sunburn pain. Seriously, use this one first and you won’t need any of the others.
2 Apply a solution of 2 cups of white Vinegar and 1 cup of cold water- mixed in a spray bottle.
3 Witch hazel contains anti-inflammatory properties that may help alleviate sunburn discomfort. Witch hazel can be applied directly to sunburns using a cloth or cotton ball. Witch hazel may be especially soothing when combined with aloe vera, which is another popular anti-inflammatory plant.
4 Apply a paste of baking soda and water, allow to set.

How to make your own Colloidal Oatmeal

It’s simple, quick, and might save you a little money if you make colloidal oatmeal at home.
Here’s how to do it:
1 To a food processor, coffee grinder, or blender, add whole, uncooked oatmeal.
2 Pulse the mixture until it resembles fine, off-white powder.
3 It’s easy to test if it’s fine enough to mix with water by mixing about 1 tablespoon (15 grams) into a pint (16 ounces or 473 mL). A milky white color should develop in the water. If not, grind the oatmeal even more.
To Use: Pour about 1 cup (237 grams) of the powder into lukewarm water and soak in it for 10–15 minutes.

  1. i just use vinegar, apple cider works better, and a cotton ball or pour the vinegar in a tub of tepid water and lay in it. it takes the fire out, turns brown quicker and prevents peeling.

  2. 4 hours after I got home from being on the water for 3 to 4 hours.
I sprayed my legs every time they felt like they were drying or itching, or hurting with the apple cider vinegar and water solution 1 cup each.

I also used at night a baking soda and water pasta. I let the pasta dry then wrapped them while I slept. This helped pull the heat out.

Oh yes it stinks like crazy but it helped alot, 1 week out and so far no peeling, and I’ll go straight to tan.

Now I need to work on the 3 quarters of my legs that did not get sun ?.
