Anti-Nausea Flu Cubes
If you've got the flu you know how hard it is to keep anything down. Here are some herbal ice cubes you can make to help battle the bug.
- 1 c. water
- 1 peppermint tea bag
- 16 floz/450ml cranberry juice
- 1 teaspoon angostura bitters
To use, suck or chew up to 3 ice cubes each hour or rub on your lips.
The peppermint is soothing and the bitters will help calm an upset stomach. Ice cubes are much easier to keep down than liquids and will get rid of nasty fever breath
Caution Call your doctor if the vomiting lasts more than 24 hours or is severe.

! Angostura Bitters is wonderful for settling the stomach, particularly in those who are acid-sensitive. This is a great idea and recipe, thanks so much for sharing!

i had never heard of angostura bitters so i googled it. i take it this recipe is not recommended for children? i have never been a drinker. the smallest amount doesn't work well with me. will this bother me even more?
